A Sacred Connection to the Sun
Never lose the companionship with the natural world
Since I had read the article online called A panicked Connection to the Dun, I found that this is a fine- flavor metrical composition from joyousness Harjo. While I was reading done the metrical composition I realized Joy Harjo who is the narrator to this poem had a strong feeling about loving the reputation. Joy had this strong feeling is because she is a ingrained American, and the life that she is looking for is that human organisms and the nature in harmony. She had mentioned in the poem: I believe in the cheerfulness. From this sentence we can tell that sunlight is really holy in Joys mind. The main idea of this poem is verbalise people that we need to think about the nature that we defecate now, and need to protect it immediately.
In Joys narrative, she is putting herself as a part of the nature, to realize the inspiration from the nature. She made the consentaneous poem leading by the sun, and she believes that our earth could non defy without the sun. From the sentence in the poem When explorers first encountered my people, they called us heathens, sun worshippers. They didnt understand that the sun is a relative and illuminates our path on this earth. That is truly a satire to our people now.



Because she is a Native America, her body was build in the nature, we could not imagine how often she would love the nature world.
The real purpose of Joys poem is to telling us we need to look back what human being have done to our living area. She had describe our nature as: Our earth is shifting. We can all see it. I essay from my Inuit and Yupik relatives up north that everything has changed. Its so hot; there is not enough winter. Animals are confused. Ice is melting. After reading this I feel our world is so poor right now. We have no excuse to take the consequences from our high speed development.
