War Of 1812

On July 17, 1812, James Madison chose to abandon isolationism. Doing so, Congress say war on enormous Britain. Great Britain was then subject to send 15,000 tidy sums to Canada. Having this many troops outnumber the Americans, their plans to conquer Canada came to an end. Then in August of 1814, another British troop was sent to D.C., which burned down many buildings including the Capitol and the White House.
