It doesnt seem to appeal to the future, its possibilities, or extreme disposition words can express, which is all within modern poetry
My discontentment with traditional poetry lies in the fact that it seems to only concentrate on the issues that were authoritative of its time.



For instance, civil rights poetry focuses only on the inequality and what possibilities may come from the pursuit of justice between races. Although the authors were writing with conclusion and a positive outlook, i prefer something intangible and around unimaginable to the eye attaining something through strife and determination seems to be more so what the traditional authors were writing about, which is almost overly simple for the average human being.
