Are Those Real?
wanting(p) to improve, enhance, or enlarge is not a new blood between women and their breasts. Breast implants have been used since the late1800s to augment twain the size and the shape of womens breasts. Implants have become a conventional reoccurrence inwardly our society today. It is estimated that there ar everywhere 2.2 million American women who are living with breast implants. The majority of these women opine that the risks are minimal when getting breast augmentation operating room because everyone else has them; but according to the Food and Drug Administration cardinal percent of women who get silicone gel implants experience complications within four years (Breast Implant Safety). Why do we as female consumers feel the need to enhance our breast sizes in format to be perceived as beautiful, and are we in full aware of the effects to our overall health of having these foreign objects in our bodies?
Our culture has a certain look, which is considered appealing for women, and most of us have bought into this idealized image that bigger is better. I believe that the media has influence over all of us.



We are constantly creation exposed to images of beautiful people in magazines, on billboards, in commercials, and in movies on a daily basis. We as Americans have thousands of advertisements per day. Children and young people often cypher breasts displayed in a provocative fashion within our media. Breasts are emphasized in advertisements, which signals to young people that breasts are a sexual object, and only beautiful when big and protruding.
