The Alamo The Battle of the Alamo took place (February 23rd March 6th, 1836. It was the most know battle of the Texas Revolution. After an army of Texan settlers and adventurers from the United States get across all Mexican troops out of Texas. So Mexican President Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna led an invasion to regain control of the area. In the morning of March 6, the Mexican Army attacked the Alamo. The outnumbered Texans survived two attacks, exactly were unable to fend off the third. On that day an cerebration of 182-275 Texans died and 400-600 Mexicans were killed. One of the Texans that fought in the Alamo was Davy Crockett. He arrived at the Alamo on February 8th. When he got there he had thought that the struggle was over, but it wasnt.
