Interpersonal communication is a dynamic form of communication betwixt two or more people. The film Crash is an thick look at interpersonal communication in our modern society.
Crash takes place in Los Angeles and it follows the lives of various residents that are attached through the process of interpersonal communication. The featured persons that I am focusing on are Farhad who is a Prussian transshipment center owner and Daniel who is a Latino cast awaysmith.
Farhad goes to a submarine sandwich reveal with his daughter Dorri who is a doctor. Farhad insists on buying a crap-shooter due to a robbery which happened during his wifes reel at his store. The gun shop owner who is a clear male assumes that Farhad and Dorri are Arabs because of the dialect they were speaking in regards to what theatrical role of bullets to buy. The gun owner at one time told Farhad to plan the jihad dishonor on your own time. Farhad took that insult to heart and he immediately was escorted out of the gun shop by the security guard. Farhad himself struggles to understand the concept on suitable interpersonal communication when he addresses Daniel the lock awaysmith. Farhad hires Daniel to fix a unordered lock on the front entrance of his store. When Daniel tries to explain that the door of the store must be replaced, Farhad confronts the situation very self-asserting and defensive. Farhad dismisses Daniels suggestion to replace the door and he insists that the lock is the only thing that needs to be fixed.
