I completely agree with rockafeller about the violence in fairy tales, but I think that this is a manifestation of how human beings are, by nature, waste. The violence in fairy tales acts standardised a venting of violent urges that cannot be acted out. By children recital about violence, could it also be that they are satisfying their violent urges?
